Why this tool exists
My name is Taeha and I work in tech. I am the founder of Ahjin SWE and run a number of projects in the space.
Beom CV came about for a fairly simple reason. I got tired of spending time filling in a CV tool from start to finish, only to hit a paywall just when it is time to download. That is a trick several established services still use, and it is both annoying and unnecessary.
I also got tired of doing CV layout manually. Sitting and dragging margins around, trying to get things to look right, takes time that most people do not have. The idea was to build something that handles it automatically, where you focus on the content and the tool takes care of the rest.
A CV is not a luxury tool. It is something most people need, and it should not cost anything to make one.

That was a decision from day one. Beom CV is built entirely on the frontend, meaning everything you type stays in your browser. Nothing is sent to a server and nothing is saved.
It would probably have been smarter from a business perspective to build an account system, collect email addresses, and set up a subscription model. But that is not what Beom CV is for. The idea is to be straightforward: you come here, you write your CV, you download it. Done. No email to confirm, no password to remember, and nothing to worry about when it comes to your data.
It works like a local application, but directly in the browser.
